You must arrange your work-from-home schedule for the upcoming month and submit your request between the 20th and 25th of the preceding month. This helps us better schedule work. 2. If your work efficiency noticeably declines, or if it becomes unclear to the team what you are working on, the company may revoke your remote work privileges. 3. Try to avoid working remotely on the first day of a Sprint. ## Industry Practices Some companies install software (like Netskope) to restrict activities, but I don't want to go that route. If there's a lack of trust, it's better for everyone to just work from the office. Remote work is a privilege the company provides, based on trust. If your performance is unsatisfactory, you will be required to return to working in the office. ## How You Can Help Help get the development environment ready to support a gradual shift to remote work. ## Staying in Sync ### Daily Sync - 09:00 * Until we have a more formal leave request system, please announce in the Team Channel that you're WFH for the day. This prevents people from trying to pull you into meetings you can't attend. * Since you will miss the daily meeting (which I intend to keep in-person for now, as the group is small), please send a direct message to your manager when you start your day to let them know: - What you did yesterday - What you plan to do today - Any problems you've encountered ### Task Completion When you complete a task, notify anyone who has previously asked about it or is involved in the project, or post an update in the relevant channel. ### Remote Work Guidelines * Unlike in the office, when you're remote, you must be proactive about reaching out to relevant people for help or to sync on your progress. * If your work has dependencies on others, raise them immediately. Don't wait until the next day in the office to discuss them. * If something comes up and you'll be unavailable, please let us know in advance. If you need to adjust your work hours (timeshift), just state it clearly.
